Job Description

 

The Islamic Family Institute (IFI) offers an internship in business administration and management. We at IFI strive to empower Muslim families and individuals to live fulfilled lives and to reach their full potential in their faith through Islamic Education and Counselling. We are even offering a certification program in Islamic Counselling.

 

In your position, you would take responsibilities in the administration and assist the management. You would organize webinars, manage the marketing, and take over some of the administrative tasks.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Organize webinars

  • Marketing of the institute, programs, and webinars

  • Developing and executing marketing strategies

  • Email correspondence

 

What skills will you learn

  • Skills in business management

  • Marketing

  • Active participation in strategic planning process, including developing goals, objectives, and processes

  • Administrative skills

 

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any graphic program such as Photoshop or Inkscape

  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English

  • A degree in business administration, Islamic studies, graphic design, and/or IT are recommended but not necessary
